Determine the Gender and Age category you'd like to pack.
Girl ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14
Boy ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14
Then pick a few items from each category to fill your box.
Hygiene Items: Washcloth, soap (in a Ziploc bag), toothbrush, nail clipper, comb.
School supplies: pens, pencils, pencil crayons, pencil sharpener, erasers, crayons, note book, paper etc.
Toys and Gifts: stuffed animal, doll, slinky, ball, cars, yo-yo, small musical instrument, skipping rope, stickers, etc.
Other: hard candy (in a Ziploc bag), hair accessories, play jewelry, socks, underwear, shirt, shoes, sandals, hat, sunglasses
Add a personal note. In a separate envelop include a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family.
Enclose $7.00 inside the box to cover shipping costs.
Do not include:
Toothpaste (due to customs regulations)
Food and any chewy, crumbly, or soft candy: Including gum (due to customs regulations)
Used items (due to customs regulations)
Playing cards
Liquids or items that could leak, melt, freeze, or break – Shampoo, creams, lip balm, bath gels, mirrors, or glass, etc. (these can damage other items in the shoe box).
Items that can scare or harm a child – War-related toys, knives, and toy guns, etc
